I am starting over...beginning anew. Creating a new me. Being the person I want to be.

I don't want to be strong, I don't want to be weak, I won't be your hero and I won't be your villan. I want to be the person I know that I can be. I want to live my life as I choose without restraint from others. I chose freedom and that is what I seek.

I am beginning my exploration of the world. I want to reach out for knowledge to taste what I am missing in life. Books, art, music, people, culture...society.

I want to be a good man. By that I mean being the best one I can be. I want to be a good husband. That is what I am to do.

Victory over one's self, this I attempt, and this I celebrate...tonight I celebrate freedom and I celebrate life. And I will continue my celebration through my exploration of life until the day I find death at my door.
